Hello friends,

I hope this finds you happy and healthy!

The kickstarter campaign is over, and it was unfortunately unsuccessful. Still, I’m glad I did it! Thank you so much to all of you who backed my project and shared it with your friends. It made all the difference, and I’m incredibly grateful! If it was your first time on Kickstarter, since the campaign failed to reach its funding goal, you will not be charged. It will be like nothing happened!

I wrote more on this on the blog!
Go check it out 🙂

In the atelier, I’m practicing painting mushrooms, and it is so much fun! The woods behind our house is filled with mushrooms and lovely colours, and it’s such a pleasure to be able to draw and paint from nature.

Inspiration

I’m reading the book Fifty Plants that Changed the Course of History by Bill Laws, and it’s been a fantastic read so far filled with lots of information and anecdotes. I love to exchange fun facts with my friends and family, and this book is a dream!

It felt really good to work on some calligraphy pieces this week. Calligraphy has such a nice slow pace that requires all my attention.

One last thing,

You mean that I can watch real animals live anytime I want? Including bears, and whales, and bats, and birds?

Hello friends,

Hello friends,

I hope this finds you happy and healthy!

Only a few days left before I launch my Kickstarter campaign! It’s exciting, nerve-racking, and about a million other feelings!

I’m creating models of some of the rewards that will be available on Kickstarter. I wanted to dive deeper into the magical side of plants and explored some superstitions and rituals surrounding common plants. It was truly fascinating! It felt so great to be creating, drawing and getting ink on paper (and all over my desk, woops!). I’m really excited to share these with you!

I read,

This week, I listened to The Lost Girls of Paris, by Pam Jenoff. It was such a good book! It explores the role of female spies during WWII in such a captivating way. You follow three different women: Mary, a spy; Eleanor, the leader of the program; and Grace who is trying to understand what happened to the spies after the war ended.

Through these three voices, Pam Jenoff weaves a fascinating story of resilience and sacrifice. I highly recommend it!

One last thing,

I’m taking you to Ireland… to do laundry!
