I hope this finds you happy and healthy. It has been such a relief to paint and draw these last few days, and I’ve been completely obsessed with plants, forest and flowers.

The first piece I made this week is this cute sleeping cat. I love how he seems so peaceful among the plants.

I’m working on a special project, and I need to draw some greenhouses for it. So, I started practicing! I love how the masking tape created the greenhouse’s structure. All these plants: how wonderful!

I’m watching…

This week, I read the bIf you are looking for a show about families, relationships, kids and Sweden, I’ve got you covered! I’ve been completely obsessed with the show “Bonusfamiljen” that you can find on Netflix. This Swedish shows explores the (many) difficulties and joys of living, organizing and creating blended families.

All the characters are flawed and realistic, but it is the setting of the show that has been fascinating to me. It is so interesting to see how the Swedes live, what the houses look like, how they dress… It’s almost an anthropological study! All jokes asides, it is a really good show that will immediately take your mind off of things. I hope you’ll give it a try!

Hello everyone! I hope this finds you well: good health, not too much stress and plenty of books to read! I’ve been feeling beside myself for quite a while because of the concussion, and all the stress and bad news that have been pouring in are not helping. This is why I’m trying to focus on the positive: Spring, flowers, light.

I’ve considerably reduced my media consumption and that has been a huge help on my mood and overall well-being. I know it is hard to resist looking at the news, but it is such a relief.

I also started to paint more and more flowers. This week, I worked on this piece: all the sunflowers! It has been so therapeutic to work with all the yellows and oranges, and to create this little cat. Don’t you wish you were like him: lost in a sea of flowers?

I’m reading…

This week, I read the book “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng. I loved it! I first saw the trailer for the TV series, but I always try to read the book first. Well, this book does not disappoint. If you enjoy books like the “Joy Luck Club” or any of Kate Morton’s books, you will love this one: strong female characters, impossible life choices, funny moments, lots of feelings, racism, social struggle, and incredible consequences to mundane choices!

This books takes you through the thoughts of different characters, retails the past and foreshadows about the future, leaving you wanting to know more. A real page turner, this is the perfect book to cuddle up with!

I wanted to capture some of the sunflowers and put them everywhere, so I created some stickers! They are so cute and make me feel so happy when I look at them. I also wanted to create a happy greeting card so that you can send some happy thoughts to your loved ones.

I’ve also continued to upload one new coloring page every day. If you haven’t been to my Etsy store in a while, you are in for a treat!
