I created this logo for the herbal therapist Myriam Marleau. Myriam has created an amazing healing oil and wanted to have something more personal that represented it more closely.
Here are some prototypes I made with some watercolour. Myriam ended up choosing the last one.
I included the peony in the logo because of the softness of the flower: can’t you imagine sleeping in such a beautiful and cozy flower? The two peony leaves are placed to form two caring hands and trace the womb, which is intimately linked to this special oil.
Through this project, I learned a lot about logo design by truly understanding that a logo is more than just a pretty picture: it needs to represent and mean something more than it shows.
