Autumn Treasures – Botanical Nature Journal

I have to admit that I was very intimidated by this pumpkin! It was a great experience to paint this beautiful fruit however. My favourite part of this painting are the garden tiger moth and the rowan berries. They were most satisfying to paint!

I used watercolours on watercolour paper. The text is also calligraphed using watercolours and a nib pen.

Like the other nature journal pages I painted earlier this year, I also turned this one into a zine. There is something quite satisfying in making these little booklets!

If you like this piece and would like to support my work as an independent artist, it is available as a print and also as a zine in my Etsy shop.
